Benchmarking DDI-Explorer against other databases

To benchmark DDI-Explorer, the same “mock prescription” that was evaluated by DDI-Explorer was submitted to Lexi-Comp, one of the most reputable databases in the USA. The following screen shot captures the output of Lexi-Comp. The significant difference between the DDI-Explorer’s output and that of Lexi-Comp is unmistakeable.

Unlimited Capabilities of the DDI-Explorer

The snapshot provided hereunder demonstrates the unlimited capabiltities of the system to assess scenarios of any combination of drugs prescribed to a patient. The example provided in this snapshot is realistic example involving an OTC product (Cenrtum Tablets) which contains more than 20 active materials and may be taken with, or prescribed to patients who are already taking other drugs. It is widely acknowledged that some patients (specially the elderly) may be prescribed many drugs which may exceed half a dozen active substances. In addition, many OTC products and nutritional supplements may contain too many drugs that may interfere with drug administered on long-term basis. The diagram provided hereunder gives a clear idea on the capability of DDI-Explorer to handle situation irrespective of the number of drugs that may be concurrently administered.
